How much do you charge?
We charge nothing at all for our investigations.  Don't be
ripped off by people who want to take your money for this.

What kind of equipment do you use?
PROOF uses a variety of digital video recording, night vision
surveillance, digital and 35mm photography, digital and
analog audio (attempting to capture EVP), infrared
temperature gauges, and electromagnetic field detectors
(EMF) during each investigation.  We leave sketchy items
such as dowsing rods out of investigations, as we do not
believe they have any worth.  Examples of our equipment can
be seen at:
http://proofparanormal.com/equipment.

What area do you cover?
We cover the entire state of Indiana, as well as its
surrounding states.  We try to stay within a 4 hour radius of
our home city, Indianapolis, but are not always able to travel
this far, depending on scheduling.  If we are not able to get to
you, we will refer a group in your area.

Are you accepting new members?
PROOF is not accepting new members at this time.  We are a
smaller, private group, and there is no paid membership.

What is EMF?
See http://proofparanormal.com/whatisemf for a detailed
explanation.

What is EVP?
Check out: http://proofparanormal.com/whatisevp for a great
explanation of this phenomenon.

Are there different types of hauntings?
Read a great article written by PROOF here.

Do you cleanse a home of spirits?
No, we do not attempt to cleanse a home of spirits, or claim to
have the knowledge to do so if it is even possible.  We are
here first to try to find logical causes for your happenings,
and second, to gather evidence and possibly classify your
haunting into a certain group, if evidence of one is found.
From there, we can offer potential solutions.  Ultimately, the
final choice is yours.

Do you use psychics in your investigations?
No, we do not believe psychics have a place in scientific
oriented paranormal investigation.  We are here to find
tangible evidence, not to spend time trying to validate
"psychic" thoughts and feelings.

How do I start my own group?
We recommend finding a group of individuals who share the
same beliefs about the paranormal as you do, and wish to
use the same methods to investigate.  Slowly collect and
learn your equipment, making sure not to cut corners.  Learn
your equipment's uses as well as downfalls.  If you do not
know people interested in the paranormal, online is a good
place to look.

Do you use ouija boards or seances?
No, PROOF thinks the use of these items is a waste of time.
Also, many horror stories are told of the potential for inviting
negative energies into your home by using these.  We have
seen no evidence of this, but recommend leaving these, as
well as things like pendulums at the store.

I just moved to a new location.  My old home was haunted, is
it possible that I was followed?
Many cases of spirit attachment have been investigated by
researchers throughout the years.  Many of them do support
the theory that spirits may be able to follow a person or item
that they are attached to.  For some people, moving is not
enough to escape a determined presence.
