The Guyer Opera
House - Lewisville, IN.
est. 1901 by Oscar
Guyer, seen above.
The Guyer Opera House, located in Lewisville, IN, has long been
known throughout the area as a local haunting hotspot.  Many
stories center around a little boy that was killed by a stray bullet on
the grounds, and suggest that he still remains, having fun with the
current staff.   People have reported many occurrences, from lights
turning on and off, doors closing by themselves, and even seeing a
shadowy figure roaming the building.  With the extended amount of
history in this building, and the amount of people who have spent
long amounts of time here, it would be no surprise if there were some
remnants of times past at the Guyer Opera House in Lewisville.  The
website for the Guyer, as well as a very well written, detailed history
of it can be found at
http://www.guyeroperahouse.net.

Making this investigation even more special was the fact that it was
featured on the WFYI show,
Across Indiana.  A link can be found to
the segment of this show on the left hand side of this page.

Although nothing was to be found on this night, we hope to return to
the Guyer in the near future to try again.  Perhaps with the TV crew
and all the commotion during the night, things remained quiet
paranormally.  Check back for updates!!
