The Inness Mansion is located
in a town in Indiana known
as Alexandria, around an
hour northeast of
Indianapolis.  It was built by a
man name John Inness, who
history reveals, passed on
very shortly after he put the
finishing touches on it.
At the time of his passing, John had a daughter named Blanche, as
well as a pregnant wife named Mary at home.  John and Mary
believed in their minds that this child was to be the son they had
wanted, and had decided to name him Robert.  This was not to be
the case, however, as the child was to be a daughter.  Mary decided
to go ahead and carry out their previous wishes, however, naming
the little girl Robert.
Eventually Mary died, and Blanche married and went off to travel
the world.  This left Robert at home in the mansion by herself, where
she became a social recluse, eventually dying there in the year 1977.
A man who had been taking care of Miss Robert prior to her death lived in the home
until he too died in 1983.     This is when the current homeowners purchased it and
moved in.  Since then, they have reported several phenomena.  Feelings of being tapped
on the shoulder, extreme cold chills blowing through certain areas of the home, sounds
of heavy footsteps upstairs, as well as extremely heavy feelings being felt in a particular
bedroom.  Another quite interesting occurrence was the violent movement of a large
entertainment center, rocking it back and forth wildly.  What has been best described as
a cloudy, shadowy figure of a person has been spotted in the home as well, and a young
member of the family has reported playing with a boy that is known for a fact to not
live there.  There had not, to their knowledge, been a little boy that lived there in the
past; but they are collectors of large amounts of old objects, which are known to be
able to bring in an attachment haunting.
PROOF entered the beautiful home for the first time in March, 2005.  It is quite an
impressive home, inside and out.  After talking briefly with the homeowners, we set up
shop as usual.  We first set up two infrared surveillance cams and monitors to record
some high-activity spots.   A digital camcorder was also placed in an area where people
had been touched many times by invisible hands.  An extensive initial EMF sweep was
done of the home, showing nothing out of the ordinary, and the same results were
found for several follow up sweeps.
During this sweep, temperature monitoring was also taking place.  The results were
puzzling.  In one spot of the home, the temperature raised from 61 degrees, peaking at
93.  It remained in the high 80s for a good portion of the time.  Note that this was a
baseball-sized area in the middle of a hallway.  There were no vents around this
location, and wall temps were normal.  All surrounding areas were normal except for
the one floating hot spot in mid-air.
Over 300 pictures were shot that night, with no results.  All video footage was also
found to be clean.  However, we were paid in full when one of the 75+ audio
recordings revealed a child's voice speaking to us.  There were no children present, this
is known to us as a fact.  This is coordinating evidence with the child sighting in the
home, and to us, solid evidence of activity within the home.  Also just a side note, a
very heavy thickness was felt in one room.  We usually don't discuss feelings, but this
was an unusual one, and worth talking about.  Also, you can listen to the EVP for
